Drawing 2014 at John B. Aird Gallery

February 3rd, 2014

I am thrilled to have my work, Quiescence, selected for Drawing 2014 at the John B. Aird Gallery in Toronto.

For this 15th annual juried drawing exhibition, 72 artists submitted 137 drawings for consideration by two jurors. A variety of drawing styles, media and techniques reflecting a spectrum of ideas about drawing were represented.

Two jurors, Ed Pien and Dale Barrett, selected the 33 works in the exhibition. Drawing 2014 celebrates the diversity and vitality of drawing, showcasing a range of processes, styles, materials and conceptual approaches.

I will be showing alongside: Angela Aitken, Ivo Arnaudov, Susan Avishai, Jim Balzan, Pat Bond, Linda Chen, Nomi Drory, Erin Finley, Heidrun Gabel-Koepff, Phyllis Gordon, Jacquie Green, Toni Hamel, Jessica Hein, Brynn Higgins-Stirup, Jennifer Hinrichs, Lumir Hladik, Mary Kainer, Pegi Kosa, Jeanette Luchese, Gavin MacDougall, Robert Quance, Lauren Satok, Tai Selbach, Winnie Truong, Olex Wlasenko, David Woodward.

If you get a chance, be sure to check out the show. This exhibition is one of the only juried drawing exhibitions in Canada and it is always proves to be an excellent show.
