Using animal imagery to speak about lived experience and our own animal nature, Full Circle (unrest) and Sitting just beneath the surface, focus on our aggressive impulses, particularly feelings of restlessness and anger brought about by a deep yearning for change.

It should come as no surprise, is comprised of over thirty drawings of snarling small mammals. This work captures feelings of discontentment and viciousness, and contemplates the struggle between the destructive potential of aggression and its connection to a personal sense of agency.

We are constantly recreating ourselves, not in dramatic ways, but in quiet, incremental ways that mostly goes unnoticed - the act of becoming is perpetual and is something that cannot be easily observed.

Dual (Full Circle) is an extension of the Dual Series, however in this body of work the animals gain more autonomy, turn to face one another, and begin to interact in a more confrontational way.
